The Labor Policy Institute (LPI) is a project of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).  The LPI is focused on coordinating efforts to stop a broad range of bad employment and labor policies on multiple fronts including: Hill outreach, paid and earned media, online awareness campaigns and grassroots initiatives.

The LPI does not compete with labor coalitions or other NAM efforts. Rather, it provides financial support to effective efforts. The LPI’s goal is to stop labor policy that would negatively impact manufacturers.  The LPI is a nonpartisan organization. Its sole purpose is to defeat policies that would be detrimental to manufacturers and the creation of new jobs.
